The Frayed Knots board had an official meeting last night (they are only considered official if wine is served); it was unanimously decided that the first pattern "Shirt Off Dad's Back" is ready for resale!This is a wonderful memory quilt to honor Dad or Grandpa... provided they're willing to give up a few shirts! Buttons and pockets are exposed in the finished quilt, which is 72" x 88".
We even made one with a fourth grade class this past spring. The class each brought in one of Dad's shirts from home and, once we helped the kids cut them up and sew them back together, they had a quilt which raised almost $1000 for the school auction!
